Dalia Ramblas - Barcelona

Location near La Rambla was excellent but the room felt cramped and lacked a kettle service.

Coffee in the sitting area really sucks.All the water comes out of the bath.No hand soap in the bathroom

Good points - 1. Excellent location. A minute walk inwards from the main ramblas street and 5 minute walk to Pza Catalunya (to the left) and the statue of Columbus/ Port(to the right) 2. Well connected with the metro and other transportation. You walk a minute or so from the hotel to Ramblas and the metro station is right in front of you so extremely close. A 5 min walk to Pza Catalunya will give you access not only to the public buses but also to the airport shuttles (called Aerobus A1 for Termila 1 and A2 for Terminal 2) 3. Supermarkets and Restaurants closeby. There are quite a few supermarkets and other eating joints very very close by (KFC, Mc Donalds etc). I would avoid eating at the other restaurants at Ramblas since they are pricey and not that nice either. Hard rock cafe is located in Pza Catalunya which is minutes away. 4. Hotel is new. The hotel is a month or so old so it is probably the newest hotel in the Ramblas area. This meant new furniture and new mattresses and pillows. The design of the rooms is quite modern and we could compare it to a room we had stayed in at Marriot in Milan (we had paid double of what was paid at Dalia ramblas) 5. Value for money. We booked the hotel for 2 nights (Double room) and paid Eur 118 which is quite decent considering that all the other hotels are quite old compared to this one and were charging equal or more than Dalia Ramblas 6. Room cleaning and Service. Cleaning of the rooms appears to be done on a daily basis. We were there for 2 nights and found our room tidied up with towels changed when we came back to our room the 2nd day

1. Heating was not working in the room we were given before (306). We then asked to be moved to another room (201) which was fine. Please ask beforehand if heating is working if given room 306. 2. No breakfast. Hotel does not have a dedicated area for serving breakfast yet. However, the hotel does offer complimentary coffee (a standard coffee machine is installed in the lobby area) 3. Although the rooms and toilets are quite modern, the modernism has slight impracticalities. We had a shower in our second room (201) which was quite impractical to use. The shower cubicle did not have any edges to prevent the water from flowing out of the shower and onto the toilet floor.

Dalia Ramblas is a clean and modern hotel located just steps from La Rambla. The room was quite spacious for a European city, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were helpful and attentive, ensuring that all needs were promptly addressed. The nearby metro station Liceu facilitated easy access to various attractions.

Some areas, like the curtains and lamp shades, showed signs of wear.

The staff's friendliness stood out, especially during my room change due to air conditioning issues. The hotel's central location made exploring the city effortless, and the daily cleaning ensured a pleasant environment.

The hotel is great location and easy to explore Barcelona unfortunately all hotels astronomically increase there price during the Mobile World Congress.

The hotel had no water either complimentary or chargeable or toothbrush etc.

Location is good, faiclity is good and friendly staff.

Just need to have electric pot for cooking hot water and the heater was not working properly.

The location is unbeatable, just steps from La Rambla and tucked away in a quiet alley. Our room wasnice and neat, and we loved the modern private shower. Especially Nacho.

The Wi-Fi connection was spotty at times.

Rooms are small. Floor was very dirty. Sink was too small even to wash hands. The room we got at first smelt like one giant cigarette, but the staff moved us to another one... were AC was broken and kept cooling down non-stop. For that we got 3 extrablankets...

Can't recommend highly enough for a brief pause

Comfortable room, friendly staff, the hotel was conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the Liceu metro station, made exploring the surrounding attractions easy.

For us it was ideal.

Friendly and helpfull staff. Location very good. Nice design and quality of room.

Rooms toward the back are quieter, making them ideal for restful nights while still enjoying easy access to local attractions.

The units are silent, huge for an easy chair. They offer an electronic key card, a work desk and a TV. Its location is marvellous and amazing adjacent to La Rambla and the port, and the metro station and the ramblas;)))
